As a member of the DSSA, Dentsys are heavily involved in all discussions with the Department of Health and NHS Dental Services relating to developments within the industry; however we now need some Paragon users to get involved in the new contract pilots.
If you wish to be considered to be one of these pilot sites please let us know. You will also need to visit the following website www.pcc.nhs.uk/dentalpilots to find out how to become a pilot site, but please hurry time is tight - the cut-off for registration is January 17th 2011.
The regulations from the Quality Care Commission will be coming into effect too. We have been seeking clarification on the information we need to allow you to store any additional information within Paragon. As usual this is still unclear, if anyone feels they have definitive details please forward them to us, the DSSA is also actively seeking clarification.
Part of the CQC documentation details much stricter cross infection controls. One area affected will be in the use on computer equipment in the surgery. To enable you to satisfy these new regulations we have sourced an excellent, sensibly priced medical keyboard and mouse. Full details are on the following sheet.
